Amazing Aurora tour experience
Amazing Aurora tour experience
We recently took the Arctic Circle Aurora Tour and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Our guide, Dan, was fantastic! His enthusiasm, knowledge, and wonderful storytelling made the 18-hour road trip fly by. He brought the history of Alaska and the Dalton Highway to life while ensuring everyone was comfortable with well-planned breaks. Reaching the Arctic Circle was a highlight, complete with hot drinks in the freezing temperatures. The Aurora experience was equally well organized, with safety always a priority. The comfortable homestead, snacks, hot drinks, and knowledgeable second guide made the evening even more enjoyable. Having tripods provided for Aurora photography was an especially thoughtful touch. An unforgettable experience with excellent guides and great organization. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the amazing trip. Denali did not disappoint. We are now in the eite 30% group that could view it on our full train over to the National Park. It was spectacular. Everything went well and it was the trip of a lifetime.

Two Day Excursion Glacier Bay
Two Day Excursion Glacier Bay
Through Alaska Active Travel LLC, we booked a two-day excursion to Glacier Bay near Juneau in mid-June 2025. On the first day, we spotted whales (humpbacks) and other marine animals. We were lucky enough to see many humpbacks and also the "first" orcas of the season. An unforgettable experience.

Working with Alaska Active was one of the best travel decisions we made! We signed up for the Alaskan Heritage Coach and Rail tour and left the state with our minds blown from the scenery, the wildlife, and the people. The variety of destinations, modes of transportation and activities offered in this package were beyond our expectations. We had a wonderful time on our recent Iditarod and Northern Lights tour. Alaska Active Travel planned everything for us and explained in advance what we needed and where to be for each day. It was well organized. And when the Iditarod changed, they let us know within a timely fashion.

We were leery to book with Alaska Active Travel. Having always planned trips on our own, or booked a group tour this was a new experience. In the end, we are glad we did. We had a fantastic trip to Alaska. They arranged hotel accommodations, transportation, additional excursions and hotel nights at our request
